Prismatic Profile with UGR<19 Performance
Achieving reduced glare in linear lighting is a difficult task. Most of the UGR<19 compliant luminaires are panels made out of prismatic sheets like the Plexi Honeycomb + the Opto90 PET225.
Currently we are manufacturing profile lenses with prismatic pattern that could use our optical films like the Opto90 PET225 as a complement to achieve reduced glare compliant with UGR<19.
The pictures above show how is the assembly of the luminaire. The clear prismatic lens will do the glare control while the diffusion material will help to reduce the glare and give an opal and soft light effect that is preferred in the architectural lighting market.
We do have some standard mold for the Pyramid profile lens and some inventory that allows to reduce lead time and tooling fee. The Honeycomb profile is currently custom produced.
