UGR < 19 Prism Optics

Engineered microprismatic lens for luminaires with Unified Glare Rating UGR < 19 and lower, compliant with European standards for office lighting (EN 12464-1).

Our product is used by the most trusted lighting brands for low glare luminaires utilized in computer workstations, classrooms, and any place that requires quality lighting for high comfort and productivity.

Available in clear Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), Polycarbonate and Polystyrene. Also a high performance Polystyrene TP(a) V0 fire rated with UV stability. This unique material is produced using a resin with stabilizer to protect the sheet from the long-term degradation from UV light.

Micro Prismatics + Diffusion Film

It is a common practice in the lighting industry to use a diffusion film attached or bonded to the microprismatic sheets for having an opal effect while further reducing the UGR value.

We recommend to use either the Opto90 PET225, or the Opto80 PC200. Any of those diffusion films work well specially in edge-lit applications with light guide plates, or troffers.

Other Micro Prismatics

While these sheets don’t reach UGR<19 they are widely used in troffer fixtures with LED and standard fluorescent lamps.
